very nice interior man, can we get some more pics of the door panels? Love the rsi handles, always wanted that orange interior color in my car.

So, tell me... it is true in Deutschland; the New Beetle was not very popular? Do you think that the 2012 Beetle will change this? I remember visiting Deutschland in the 1990s and I didn't see many Beetles then; it seems in Deutschland that people get rid of their cars and don't keep them terribly long because of the TUV safety inspection. Costs too much money to keep a older car on the road! So, tell us about the situation in Deutschland... is the New Beetle popular; what is the New Beetle enthusiasts scene like? I have seen some nice websites:

New Beetle Forum

The Beetle: Katalog sowie Technik und Preise sind online - eBeetle.de - New Beetle und Käfer Infos - Volkswagen New Beetle

Vw Jetta 1.8 bj. 90 benziner - VWTeam.com

Also, you mentioned that you have your own business; what do you do... is it automotive related?

Hello,

yes so it is. The Beetle was never so popular in germany as in the USA for example. And i dont think that the new one cant change this. But we will wait. In germany the New New Beetle 2,0 Turbo with some goodies costs about 38.000 Euro, = 55.000 US$ thats a lot of money for a fun car for sunday

The Forum i like is www.beetle-turbo.de • Portal

Look in if you had some time.

I really like how the interior came out, its got a rsi-ish theme with the door panels and i really like how the seats are not stitched up a million times (double diamond stitch, square stich etc)

although i fell in love with these when i saw them at a local upholstery shop, and its funny that its almost the same color

Not only is your Bug awesome, it gives me alot of ideas. My center console pieces didn't look so great so I removed the soft touch muck and sanded them down with 600 then 800 and painted them in light charcoal silver, but after seeing yours I am seriously thinking about taking them to a good airbrush shop and having them customized. best of all it will be a cheap mod that looks great.

Awesome car man.
