Default New pics of trailering the Vert

Here are a few pics of trailering the beetle from Colorado to Texas. Went 1000 miles with no issues. Towing vehicle was a 2009 Toyota Highlander Sport with tow prep package.

Too bad our Colorado group didn't get a chance to meet you while you were here!! Rhonda (usabug03) has a triple white too. Maybe we'll meet up in Roswell next summer.

Yeah...that would have been cool. Was only there for a few weeks after I bought the car...could have come with my old NB Coupe though....I saw another triple white convertible here in San An the other day.....couldn't get close enough to give the owner a wave though.

Founds this old beetle convertible and couldn't miss the opportunity for a photo shoot. Also took some pictures with the planes at the parade ground used for Airmen graduating from Basic. Let me know what you think. Thanks for looking...

I like the vert and LOVE the SR-71!!
Got an up close and personal view of a Blackbird at the Air & Space Museum at Dulles in DC.
My absolute favorite aircraft of all time. Had a buddy from the Air Force who worked on these and got a chance to see one
fly back in the '70's when I was in the Army. Awesome sight to see!!

@CGK...Thanks....as a kid the SR71 was one of my favorite planes. We had a pilot over for dinner once when my dad was stationed at RAF Mildenhall. Mildenhall actually had a special hangar where they could run engine tests without the plane being out of the hangar. Very cool!

Cool....just moved here from Colorado Springs....finally getting settled into town. A lot warmer than we are used to. But it's getting close to when I can drop the top without worrying about melting.

Default really nice ride

Nice car, I like the way it looks with the windows tinted. I'm trying to decide to tint mine too and it's cool to see how it will look.

Default Tint

Caleb....thanks. I definitely couldn't live without tint here in San Antonio with the hot days and sun. The tint isn't that dark....the original owner who purchase the car in Lubbock TX had the car tinted prior to me buying it.

Smile Hey Samsalter this iz crazy..

I just read where you traded in a 2000 red beetle for your 3w nbc. I did the exact same thing. I traded my 2000 red glx beetle for my 07 triple white vert too. I thought that was kind of cool. take care, Caleb

Yeah....crazy...strange coincidence. I love my triple white. Get compliments on it all the time. It drive great and love to drop the top when it's not 100 degrees outside. Enjoy your car and look forward to possibly meeting at a GTG in the future. Thinking about going to Roswell in May.

Hope you love yours like I love mine. And the windscreen is my favorite appearance accessory.
