I took Ernie to PepBoys last Fall, they had a special on cleaning up foggy headlights, After 2 hours, they came back in and looked like a surgeon giving a family some bad news. He said whe couldn't get them cleaned. He didn't charge me. I am going to got a set off Ebay this week.

The recall has been fixed but one of the previous owners were in a lil finder bender and the way they rigged the drivers side tail light to work is horrible!! Earlier in this thread I told all what I found!! So the tail light is really dim so I have to get replacements

Nice pictures! Especially the ones in the mountains... I just LOVE to see new beetles driving around windy curves!!! I think it makes sports cars jealous...

Now you need to talk to Kurt (supercharged98) who bought our black 98, Feist. A Neuspeed supercharger does wonders for a 2 litre new beetle At least I enjoyed it

Didn't realize you needed a new windshield. I also think there are 1 or 2 folks on the classifieds who are parting out 2.0 bugs. Possibly a good deal on a starter?? Or do you know what's wrong with yours?

Ernie's cabin filter was changed when I first got him almost 2 years ago, and the service man brought it out to the lobby to show me how nasty it was
