Now Carla if you want to ramp up the cool factor, get you a euro switch. You can run the fogs without the headlights. Not too sure how much they are new, but maybe someone here has one for sale- that's how I found one for Cup.

Will look but funds are wrapped into fixing the stuff that isn't working well or not working at all.. lol.. Gotta get her fixed right before doing anything else.. lol.. Next is starter and then cv axles.. popping is about to drive me crazy.. lol.. Then door locks after that.. Hoping to get a good keyless entry that is not to expensive.. And then rims because hers are all scratched and all.. lol

There are less expensive alternatives you can do in the interim till funds for a euro switch fill the kitty. Also bear in mind, that even with a euro switch, your parking lights DO have to be on, just not headlights. Have Lance run temporary wires from the fogs to either side parking lights. One turn of the headlight switch to parking lights and the fogs come on. No having to remember pulling out on the switch knob

Carla, I might have just what you need. I bought a power door lock set up for a street rod we never got around to installing it into. Came with all hardware, instructions and 2 remotes (new in the box). When I lay my hands on it (in the shed somewhere) it's yours. Don't want anything for it, just that if it doesn't work for your application, I'll take it back. I'll spend some time digging around for it this coming weekend.
Denise & I can always deliver it and bring along a few Wild Blue's too

That sounds great.. Could maybe throw a gtg here.. lol.. Or at the inlaws.. They have a pool table to give us something to do.. And more room.. But their drive way is not bug friendly.. Or at least not to my Smurfette. Even taking it at an angle it scrapped.. lol

That's one thing I don't like about the euro switch- you can't rock the fogs by themselves.

So long as she's up and running by The October GTG
I bought good a quality axle for under $80. Unfortunately I don't remember who (company name) I bought it from and the info is on our old PC that blew up
And I think there a couple of good "how to's" on changing them on the Org. It's not extremely difficult and doesn't take too long.

Sorry to hear about the little nut. When and for how long?

Well here's a long story short.. Went to drive truck to work that night and rolled windows down and heard a noise so I tried to roll window back up and nothing.. So I called Lance out and he told me to drive Smurfette to work.. So I did as someone would steal everything out of truck with window down at work.. Well drivers side cv axle completely gave out right up the road from home.. I was able to make it home safely.. But I could only drive 10-15mph.. Steering wheel was shaking.. It was scarey.. Then when Lance jacked her up, the jack slipped and put a hole in the oil pan so we had to get another oil pan.. Such bad luck..

But to make it all better.. We are going to Gary and Denise's house this Saturday for some bug loving good times.. And to get the tools needed to fix her cv axles..
