Wow! Sorry to hear about your ankle. Please make sure you use the crutches though. I sprained my ankle, doc wrapped it...it swelled worse, then gave me a "splint" for it...but not crutches. So I continued to drive/walk/whatever on it. Now, I think I have permanent damage to my ankle. It's ALWAYS swollen, it pops a lot, and just down right uncomfortable. I recommend, ice it, elevate it, and use the crutches when walking. Give it time to heal, those are muscles and tendens that are healing...they can take awhile....
Sorry to hear you are on bed rest for now, but at least you have the ORG right?

Yep, I am doing better. I hurt my shoulder trying to use the cruches so just didn't do alot of walking which was VERY weird for me. I didn't drive Smurfette till I got the ok from the doc. and was out of work for 6 days.. I go back tonight so wish me luck. I am not looking forward to going back.. I am on aggressive home therapy as I could not afford to go to physical therapy so I have been doing them when me and a girlfriend go to the gym while she does the leg stuff I do my ankle thing. lol.. I do what my ankle allows me to do. Still ice on it in the evenings before bed. But I still can not sleep well at night or when I try to sleep due to an achy feeling? I dunno. But it does look 100% better. Still swollen some. But no where near what it was or the pain. I can walk on it now with the brace on. lol.
