Smurfette
Hello all.. This is the start of my Smurfette thread.. I only have one picture so far so work with me as I have time off I will take more pictures of her as we do some work to her also..

Here are a couple of the motor while we are cleaning it up and appling some heat resist paint to intake.. I cleaned up the cover also and thinking of painting the 2.0 blue.. We will see..

Here are some updates today.. Changed her air filter and put a K&N air filter in, replaced some vaccum hose and a "T" fitting that broke, put my "team oreillys" sticker on.. Painted the 2.0 on the engine cover blue.. lol.. Just little touches to make her my own

The car looks great!
Don't be afraid to detail that engine bay. I just detailed mine for the first time after owning the car for 2 years. It looks so much cleaner, and it feels good to drive a clean car, lol ...

Yea the guy had just put it on before I bought her. I love her with the sporty wing.. Maybe that is why I love her so much and we get along because we are both sporty.. lol.. I did clean up the engine bay some because I am cleaning out the engine slugg (cant spell) so there were a couple of spots that I was wondering if it was leaking so we cleaned it up so that I can keep an eye on it.. But she is getting there..

Thanks everyone.. I love her.. I drive her every chance I get.. We are taking her on our first Long trip.. We are going to drive her to the mountains.. I pray she makes it there and back.. lol.. I think she will.. But just keep us in prayers from the 12th through 16th on our trip.. lol..

Amazing how nasty they can get. I think you're right to, that not many are ever changed. Ours in Sunshine is due.
Tagging new beetles, taking Smurfette on an extended road trip. You're getting into the new beetle groove

Here are some before pictures of the head lights while Lance polished them up for me (all because he loves me)
 and I did the bottom of the antenna and got it back to the black That was my project.. And the two ball that I eventually want to use as my shift knob
