Proud Pappa Has Twins 02 and 03 Turbo S

So heres the deal. I sold my second NB Rico and found a 03 Trubo S that I could not pass on. So if you add this one to my recent purchase of 2002 Turbo S, I now have twin Turbo S's both same color but different attitudes. I will have to post pictures later as it is raining now. Just wanted to share my excitment.. YEAH

With some help I named them already

The 2002 Turbo S is named " JYD " he is Junk Yard Dog cause that is where he came from with his hail damage.

The 2003 Turbo S is named " Peppy Pepper " we just came up with that one but its sticking I like it.

LOL yeah John, you know the way we roll one beetle is never enouph for us. LOL... We will get the pictures coming soon. It's funny I find myself in the same situation as before. You see I bought Ringo and he was not ready to enjoy on the road. So I went out and found Rico, who was ready and went the distance to Roswell, NM. Now that you have showed me the cool factor of the Turbo S, I had to have one of them. Thats your fault buddy. BUT again the first was not ready for the road and will take some time and money to fix. SOOO in tradition I found a road ready unit that I can enjoy now while I fix up JYD. and his name is Peppy Pepper..

I will proudly accept full responsibility! The more the merrier. I can't wait to get Sterling, Gandalf and Peppy Pepper together for some pics. I've been checking the map and it looks like we need to find somewhere around Springfield to meet up. But that will have to wait until after next week. We are loading up and getting ready for another road trip. Going to take Llona to the Rockies to see if some altitude and low humidity might help her RA. I'll stay in touch and we'll get together real soon.

And if your in for a drive to Bixby, we're having a cook out September 25th.

I have to take some props here myself in regards to "the New" Ringo. I his wife actually named both of his Turbo S's... I told him I would not say anything but I couldn't resist!! Yes we now in the family have 3 Turbo S's. And just think, Ringo did not even know what a Turbo S was until John explained it to him... Well as suit follows, I was the first one to get one and then bam, they spring up all over our house... That makes 8 beetles for us! That is just sick!!!!! LOL!!!

LoL not quite yet. A few more mods are needed to get that mpg. But right now I'm getting about 44mpg combined hwy and city....wait, who am I kidding? It's all city. I live in Atlanta, even the hwy is city driving! I'll let you know what mpg is after my trip to St. Augustine, Fl

Oh Charley, they are all ours. The reflex silver one is the wifes Turbo S and the two platinum grey ones are mine. So that is three in the family. Thus the title of the thread Proud pappa has twin turbo s the two platinum grey.

Wheres Waldo game, see if you can find Kerris head in the background. She is in most of them I couldn't wait for her to get out of the way. LOL
