yep, believe it I'm facebookin' it. A bit more adult like than MySpace. Besides, i hope i can keep in touch with some of my high school friends and you orgers too.

By the way, you now have a friend request.

So this is post 1001- pretty cool i think.

I remember first posting here on the org for a problem I had with Cup- can't remember the problem now. Anyhoo many years later, i've learned so much about our beetles, and done a lot of DIY work. Most of all i've found a great group of folk who I call many of you my friends. It's funny how the one thing we have in common, our beetles, have created friendships, which to a degree allowed us to let others to be their own cat, and even though our styles might be a little different and we might be of different cultures and a broad range of age, we've come together to become not only enthusiasts, but friends as well.

Thanks to all who've contributed to Cup's thread, and given input- good or constructive. Many posts here are light-hearted and fun, but many here are of substance and not just gobbledygook, and have made for a great photo thread.

Thanks for carving out a little of your time to give my Buttercup a look. I take great passion in Her care and a love for taking her picture- she's a blessing to me and i'm thankful for her....yes she's a car, but a blessing nonetheless.

Here's to 1000's more posts.

You are just too sweet. I keep telling my husband that I am positive in a past life I must have grown up in the south. I just adore the people, the weather, the food, the scenery and the flowers. (oh, and I love hats, can't forget about my hat fetish) I might be from Colorado, but somehow I am a southern belle. You just keep reminding me how much I love it there. You and your car make me smile. Thanks!

Why thank you m'am.

I love the south too. Mom and Dad moved us from Philadelphia (my birthplace) down here to FL many moons agoand I am so glad they did. I'm sure there's some southern belle in you- you and hubby need to make a trip here one of these days.

I can understand you smiling and all- it's the Buttercup effect for sure

Herbie thinks Buttercup is hot so he did a couple flips!!

Al, take a pic of the picture when you've got it framed.

These pics were taken this past weekend, on my way to Brooksville. The actual spot is on SR26, on the way to Gainesville.

And the wildflowers grow like weeds down here, so don't get your boxers in a bunch over Cup's poses.

I'll do it for sure. It will go above the Beetle Nation magazine pic that's framed

G. Strait is cool

Mr. Blue Sky by ELO would be fitting too

It was such a beautiful day too Cori, kinda like today: low humidity and in the low 80's

Woah, that eats up a lot of real estate on my computer screen. Still I LIKE IT!! Yeah, you'll find out that Cup is all over the homepage. There was a time when we were having problems (Technical), and couldn't get the pics on the homepage. In the midst of the tech problems, I submitted a crapton of pics. I thought they got lost in the cyber shuffle, never to be seen again, but CrazyJames (sir James) had all of them tucked away. So one day ***POOF*** They all appeared on the homepage, which is cool by me. Loves me some Buttercup

As you see in the few quotes, not only did i take flower pics with Cuppy, but KBelle inspired me to cook up a pic with Cup, frolicking...ah ahem....Stomping (happy CJ) in the flowers. So with Cup's latest flower pics, I FINALLY, cooked up a pic, that i'm happy with- totally embodies KBelle's quote. Hope you all like it. I do

And yes, i will be making a photo of this for my wall.
