Wow that is great Al. I hadn't even thought of it but I brought Pepe home in December of 2000.

In that same time frame I've worked for 4 different companies, completes my bachelors degree, have had two different cats and dogs pass through the family.

So outside of my wife and kids, Pepe has been around longer than most other things.

Just a funny insight. :-)

So - what head unit did you end up going with, and love to see some interior pics when you get them up!

Thanks for the much needed Cupdate, Al. Always nice reading them. I wish it was getting warmer here. Can't wait to see you, Val, and Cup in a few short weeks. Just showed Vance my new shoes and he brought up our trip.

Didn't get a new HU yet. I still have the Sony HU. I do want the Alpine HU that you have, but right now there's bigger financial fish to fry, one of which is getting the funds to make the Roswell trip- and the higher gas prices are making that fish a lot bigger

As of right now, i'm getting some speakers to replace the blown rear ones, and that should hold me until I Cup can undergo a major audio reworking. Kathryn hooking me up with the iPod Classic was a big help in holding on to what I currently have. At least I don't have to lug CD's around anymore

Now for a few better quality pictures

These were taken Sunday afternoon, in a parking lot, just down the street from our church. Spring is in the air and I'm loving the crepe myrtles and other trees that are in bloom; and Cup looks good in front of them

These pics were taken on Jacksonville's south bank of the St. John's river, downtown. In the background you'll notice a blue bridge, which is the Main Street Bridge. You'll also notice the tall building that says "Odis"... the main anchor was "Modis", but recently relocated, so the letters are slowly being removed, hence the "Odis". FYI, that building is one of the marquee buildings of Jacksonville's skyline AND was the former Independent Life Insurance company headquarters.

Anyhoo, enough babble- here's the pics

These next shots were taken just a few blocks away from the previous location, on San Marco Avenue near the Acosta Bridge; a parking lot at the base of the bridge to be exact. As memory serves me, I believe the building in the background is the Prudential building. Anyhoo, It'a cool peice of archetecture- love the angles, and it looks even better against the partly cloudy sky. Cup in the foreground doesn't hurt either

Here's the last set of pics for tonight- more to come.... oh wait, there's more now- almost forgot

Thank ya Buddy Ro!

Here's the for real, last set of pics for the night

These pics were taken at EverBank Field, the home of my Jacksonville Jaguars! I didn't think I'd be able to get that close to the stadium on a non-game day situation. Fortunate for me, the gate was open and they were cool with me snapping a few pics. I still want our team's mascot, Jaxson DeVille to pose in a few pics with Cup- that would be awesome!

Here's the pics, including a shot of the traveling VW emblem; I believe the emblem will be going down to Orlando next, where Shonnel will take some pics with it.

I'll let Shonnel know to send it your way when she's done. The game was started by Raymond Lee and Chelesa/Smartchick2009. They really want that emblem to travel far- getting it to you would be a great way for it to get a few miles under the belt.

Wow Al, I missed a lot. Love the traveling logo shot. Add it to the thread here so we know where to keep the shots. I like it!

Those tow truck shots look like Probie's! Glad those days are over! Can't wait to see Cuppers again!! We missed her this year, but she'll be ready to rock come May...and thoughts on Bugapaluza? Motel 6 is offering rooms for $29.95 a night if you mention Bugapaluza...I booked my room for the whole weekend Just a thought. Cup could use a good showing...that's for sure...registration $16. gets the car in the show and 2 people in the dow (door; had to make it rhyme) lol Information here : Bug-A-Paluza
