Burt t. Beetle 1999 Blue GLS
Well I thought I would start my pictorial chronicle for Burt t. Beetle, a 1999 GLS 2.0. I have owned burt for just over a month, I polished the headlights and have new Koni shocks struts with Elibach springs ready to install next week so this is still the stock before pictures. Pictures were taken around Highlands NC and Rabun Gap GA in October.
The last two are my Sad  attempt to be artistic. Hope you enjoy

Smurfette sends her love and I think she was upset with me on the way back from the gtg because I did not get her and his pics together. She acted up the whole way back.. Lol.. Burt looks very handsome though. Great work :-)

Suspension
New Koni STR.T Shocks and Struts
Eibach Pro kit springs fornt and rear KYB mounts front and rear New hardware Alignment after installation still shows: LEFT Right -0.2 Camber -1.0 7.7 Caster 8.2 .01 Toe .01 14.8 Included Angle 14.5 Front Cross Camber .8 Cross Caster -.5 Cross SAI -.7 Rear Left Rear Right -1.1 Camber -1.7 .32 Toe .28 Rear Cross Camber .6 Total Toe .6 Thrust Angle .02 Few of the settings were not in "tolerance" but since it is a custom set up I hope it will be OK. Took a short ride and it rides GREAT. Looking forward to some mountain driving this weekend Pictures will follow when the weather gets better (Cold and Wet). New head unit going in tomorrow! (Interior Pictures coming soon) Time to reign in Burt spending until after the holidays ha ha
