I will post a few more tomorrow including the wheels. I really like the wheels Flik 18 x 8.5 and I got a year clearance deal including tires from Edge Racing out of Miami ($805.00 shipped to the door within 2 days)!

I love your NBC....almost exactly what i'm planning to buy and do rim wise...probably do the Flik Wasps in black and 18's. Only difference would be black interior.

What package did you get? None, 1 or 2?

It is the base NBC with the 6spd Triptronic and the CD changer option.I wanted to customize it so I figured I didn't need optional factory wheels or a power top as I would be wanting to spent the extra cash for other goodies!

is the top easy to put down manually....that's the same package i'm thinking about except with manual transmission too.

It's not a problem at all! I can toss it back one handed without any effort, even the wife said it was breeze!

being 100% serrious...

there is nothing hotter than a GL new beetle.

with that said, there is nothing hotter than a manual convertible top on a new beetle. something about the simplicity that makes it so sickly sweet.
