Well, I finally got around to doing some pictures. Didn't get the interior yet but not a lot exciting in there really

Enjoy!

I'm hoping to get him new wheels this summer since one of the factory wheels has some curb rash from the previous owner

Thanks for posting the pics. The little car looks really nice. I love that color.

Thanks! I still think that I got one heck of a deal on him for the condition and the miles! This is probably my favorite color on any VW to be honest. I'm just glad I found this guy. It had everything I wanted on it.

I will probably post some more pictures as soon as it gets warmer.

These were taken the day after he came home from the body shop after $1,500.00 worth of hail damage

Luckily, I have full coverage I guess!

I'm looking in to start personalizing him a little here and there. I really like the stock look so I probably won't stray too far from it but there are some things I want to do.

I have a Black Anodized stubby antenna from ECSTuning on its way and new emblems as the ones on the car are faded. Also, new tint all around. The tint on the car is old and scratched in spots (don't ask me how, I don't even want to know ) probably something like 35-25% on all sides will go on (except for the windshield). The interior is going to slowly get some fresh pieces as it isn't in the best shape, not terrible but certainly was not well maintained.

Great color! It looks particularly good with the tinted windows. I understand you're redoing them, but on the photos anyway they look nice.
Congratulations! Enjoy that great MPG.

Thanks! Yeah the tint job looks AWESOME from the outside and I really liked the way it was done. The scratches only seem to show on the inside of the glass which works great for appearance but annoys me . I really like VWs with tinted windows, for some reason it just looks good! Some cars that I've had don't have that wow factor when you tint the windows IMO.

THANKS!! Still has pretty low miles on it for a TDI but that won't be the case for long as much as I drive . The car I sold to buy this car was my daily driver and it was purchased in 2007 with 30,800 miles and was sold in June with 95,000 miles on the clock looking better than it did when I purchased it

Hey thanks! Gotta love it! The combination of Beetle and diesel equals out to be my favorite car to date.
