The shifter is great! When the transmission is warmed up. When its really cold it feels like I'm pushing through sludge to get into third.

It's been a while since I've posted on the .org Since my last post I blacked out tail lights and signals, installed a head unit and subwoofer, and my favorite of all is the Malone Tuning stage 1.5 tune. It makes the car pull pretty good. Later this week I'm getting a vinyl wrap on my car, should look sick!

Just some pictures of the Wheels while they're clean. Someday I'd like to have bigger, slotted disks in the back. And maybe some wheel spacers too, but as is its pretty damn flush!

Nice. What kind of power are you seeing with the Malone software?

I haven't had my car on a dyno to get a good power run, but working with Malone Tuning he said the stage 1.5 should be making between 30-35 hp gains, and plenty more torque. It brought my 0-60 run to a little over 8 seconds which is way better than before! I went with the flashzilla module which made installing the tune a breeze. Mark from Malone tuning was very helpful with explaining the steps and further educating me on the BEW TDI engine. I lost some mpgs with the tune, but thats because its more tempting to keep pushing your right foot down. I'll have more pictures on friday with my roof and trunk wrapped black!

Default oohhh so sexy

Just got a vinyl wrap done on my car! It looks great, thanks a lot to the guys at Revolution Wraps. Now I just need a black tdiclub sticker to put over my third brake light and I think it'll be complete, that is until I get the bug mod bug again.

Looks good! I wanted to get my roof painted black, I didn't even think about vinyl. I've never seen the trunk and roof done together. It looks great though! How do you like the vinyl compared to having it painted?

Thanks, I thought black roof & trunk would be something a little unique, and it looks sweet! It only took about an hour to get done and cost a lot less than painting that much surface. It looks shiny and glossy like paint, only when you touch it can you really tell that its vinyl. I need to take Gustav out for some serious photo shoots, he's on the verge of looking mean.

Just getting a few more pictures up. I've couple a few small things in mind coming next, vw badges on the wheels and a black tdiclub sticker over my third brake light.

The blue LED lights in my footwells were a little project I did a while ago, sadly after having them for about a year I turned them on and could smell burning plastic. I will admit my wiring job with those wasn't my best, so when I was putting in my stereo I removed them. I may have to put them in again though, they looked really cool!
