here is the new ride. I just picked it up for me and my wife. Its in decent shape, it needs a cleaning like you read about.

Sorry for the lousy cellphone pic. I dont know whats up with the color, its all one colloe yellow in person. My phone isnt the best phone in the world.

I picked it up last monday. The pic was taken tuesday morning in the rain and snow. As you can see I do not have a garage, yet.

I dont work on fridays, so I waited until friday and I went through it with a fine tooth comb. List of what I did
Oil Change, and diagnosed and repired oil leak
Tune up (plugs, wires, filters)
Front Brakes (pads and rotors)
rear brakes (pads and rotors)
replaced light in the heater controls
replace 2 rims. (junk yard trip)
diagnoss trunk open light on dash
reattached lower part of front bumper, clips popped out.

inpespected all fluids, suspension and body.

What I came up with, the car was well maintained until the last owner. It seems he neglected it, but he only owned it for a short time. 2 months. He didnt like the 2door.

The Timing belt and water pump are new. I popped the ocver over the cam pully to inpsect. It really doesnt get any newer looking other than when removed from the package.

I needed to replace the drivers side rims. They were damaged. I was told that he slid into a curb during the last snow storm. both rims were holding air, but the were pretty chewed up.

Every jam(trunk, hood doors) are gross. the truck jam was all loaded with dead leaves and dirt. I have removed the reminantes of fall foliage from the vehicle as-well. Monday is supposed to be in the mid 40s, Ill get out and clean for a bit.

Sounds like its in good hands now tbone, and that is whats important. Good things to come from that buggy I believe. I'm out the door to do a little myself now.
