New Beetle Baja
Finally tested out the Baja New Beetle it actually did very well and it didn't get stuck also the panzer plate lower engine cover/skid plate took several hits and didn't sustain any damage.

I was watching your build, then your accident, and now the off road excursion! Appreciate the pics!!
Also, you should know, I recently sold my truck--due to fuel, maintenance, etc--and was looking for something else...your Beetle inspired me to go the Beetle route! I'll be following your footsteps soon! Thanks for the pics, couple more PLEASE!  Carl

I saw one in Seattle awhile back, It had a body kit of some sort on it and was slightly lifted. Looked nice.
