My Sunflower Yellow Convertible
Finally - it happened! The planets aligned and it was a) sunny, b) warm, and c)a day when I had some time.
Here's my NB (we brought her home 2 weeks ago)!

Snapped this pic at my office today. It looks like she's waiting on me! Which, of course, she is.
It was 77 degrees and ideal top-down weather BUT the pollen is knee-deep. Even though you can't see the accumulation at all on my paint! But like any new mother, I'm very overprotective  so the top will stay up till the pollen is outta here.

I REALLY love your car.
I get so sad every time I see it. I had a beautiful Sunflower Yellow NB once. I loved her so much. Obviously I am not over it yet.  Anyway, your car is gorgeous. Please keep posting the GREAT pics. AND take good care of it.

Fun Day Trip!
Today (Saturday) we went to the big flea market about 60 miles away. We took the interstate on the way there and back roads on the way home. Windstop in, top down, 68 degrees, sunny, dogwoods in bloom.
It was glorious!!! I just love this car more all the time. I expected my bug to look great but didn't know that it would drive so great. It just, well, it just glides doesn't it? The bug made a good day great! I couldn't be more pleased.

Wash and Wax
Now she's got an even deeper shine (which I don't think I captured very well on camera).
Thanks for everyone's advice on this forum about what products to use. McGuire's wax & car wash did a great job - as did my husband! Last edited by memupp; 04-09-2011 at 07:31 PM..
