Default Dales alesken green bug , now rolling BRM's and airlift air ride

Since the last time i was on here iv treated the bug to abit of air ride. I bought the four way digital airlift system and fitte it myself.

Painted the tank gun metal grey

Used the overhead glove box as the housing for the controls

All the little jobs done time to fit the struts and airline

little tip to sand the rear spring housing back so the bag sits snugg

Kinda got abit busy after this so didnt take many pictures lol

video

DSCF5567.mp4 video by alaskadale - Photobucket

then i finished the rear cover

Nice touch with the controls in the over head.
Where did you get the hub caps for the steel wheels?

The steels are just the standard wheels that came with the car and the hubs are from ebay , BOOM easy cheap mod

To be honest i don't like it

That Alaskan Green Color is by far the worst color
for a new Bug. You'd never see me buying one that
color

Weird how you went for the Orange pinstripe.
I've got Orange VW badges front and rear

Great photoshoot location. Bringing out the color of the pinstripe
nicely with the Orange floor. Stick the old wheels back on or sell
them to me for a Dollar

Man, I must have been on holiday or something. there's several pics/mods i've missed.

So by the looks of the last set of pics, you don't have the EMPI 5-spokes on your bug anymore?? If this is a yes, and you want to sell them, let me know. If I have to buy & ship one wheel at a time to the states, I'll do it!

And keep the pics coming!
