Can you tell me the process for repainting the interior that you used. Im looking to refinish the interior of my bug. But want as much advice as possible before diving in head first. Looks great by the way!

Hi

This interior isn't repainted
I found a full oem black set of panels, console etc

Prior to this I did paint the panels with plastidip but it was very easily damaged and a bit of a waste of time. It was only a temp measure to get rid of the beige.

It really let the rest of the new interior down so that's why I replaced it with oem black

Its the only way to go to be honest. Painting the rubber coated panels is full of trauma (even if you strip it off)

How involved were the front brakes? Bolt on or fab work? Do you have a "shopping list" of the parts needed to do the brakes?

The way traffic is here in dallas and how aggressive my wife drives, better brakes woud be a good thing.

Cheers! Beautiful car and great work as well.

HI

100% bolt up kit. Through a contact here in the UK.

I do know that the discs had to be modified to be 5x100 ( they are Alfa Romeo GT ones )

caliper adapters are available online. I believe ECS do them in the US

Apart from that.. VERY simple, VERY effective... They cost as much as they look unfortunatly!

But to be honest they are totally wasted on a car with a stock engine. If you messed with the motor than great but if not its money you really dont need to spend. (unless you doing it for looks)

Thanks

Little addition today BMC carbon intake

Not sure if I like it. Going to have to fabricate a cover for the messy wires behind now

And seeing as the car is already plumbed for nitrous Im thinking of getting back on the gas
