I used a 3M kit I got at Autozone. Its $25. You use a Makita type drill and probably 6 recharges on the battery. Just follow the instructions that come with the kit. And when it says the more that you sand the better it turns out, its true.

I had a CEL the other day come up. I took it to the shop to get it read and they gave me a list of codes that were stored in the memory. I had the P0411, P1602, P0300, P0301 and P1570. The problem they said was a loose vacuum hose. They cleared the codes and all was well. Now the CEL is back on. going to get it read again. My dad has a reader and I can look up the code triggers in the forum here. I really like my car. Just not all the bugs in the system...

Found the problem. I'm not sure of the part name(1), but I know it isn't supposed to be loose and free moving. I got another P0411 code and I think I should be good from now on. The picture is directly under the black cover. The vacuum line was pulled loose again. I put the part back on the rubber grommets(2) and re-connected the vacuum. All is good with that after clearing the code.

Well, had to replace the low beams today. I went in looking for the black plastic lever and couldn't find it. Instead I found a screw threaded into the little stud on the light housings. Appears that the previous owners mechanic broke them off and did not bother to replace them. Yes, both sides were broken off. And to make it worse, the passenger side light needs to be replaced. The forward facing clear plastic piece is held on with what looks to be 4 or 5 year old duct tape.(explains the mystery of the plastic thing in the light)I have pictures but have misplaced my USB cable. Will upload when I find it. Time to hit up a salvage yard.
