Thumbs up Nice Ride!

About the VW Beetle Special Editions | 2001 New Beetle en vogue

Nice!

You have the rear fog, standard there, but an Owner installed option here. Front yellow fogs, would be a nice addition.

As to your double spoilers (self-defeating, however), here's a nice look, courtesy of one of our big contributors and photographer extraordonaire Evanrude here on the Org! How could you NOT have noticed HIS ride Sting?

See Stings evolution here
Evanrudes 2002 1.8T DYCC
Or more pics here
http://newbeetle.org/forums/members/...d-edition.html

Or here is a little different colour scheme, I believe the latest photo of Sting!

Maybe a nice yellow & black CC complete interior swap. I think yours has the rather mundane gray with special seat trim, or did originally.

Now, as to the black lenses on your tail lights, sure way to have someone help pay for the new TS bumper. Get in front of me, I might be inclined to even speed up the need, but I won't be paying for it, not with you having those illegal lenses that all but can't be seen by other drivers, day or night! (lol)

Hey Morav,

Thanks for all the info provided I will check out the links that you gave me for Sting.

As for the interior you are right the care came with gray / blue trim seats.

For the dectane black stop lights - I think they are street legal and can be seen by other drivers

The worst part is that I live in Romania and shipping costs are extremely high for TS bumper.

Hey guys,

Here are some more pictures with HID kit 6000K installed. The colour is a little blueish but it's ok.

Hey Blugg,

SR it's written on the engine cap.

I bought the car from a guy which he brought it from Germany

So that's why they don't have an 1.6 thread in the forum

I like very much

The smoke/black background really gives these lights a cool look- the perfect choice (vs. the silver background) for your bug.

Please keep the pics coming- a photo shoot would be nice

Did the rear bumper come like that? Or was the recess (where the Rear Fog and Reverse Light are located) painted black?

I've considered texture painting mine... I'd never seen it done before and didn't want to risk it looking stupid. But I think yours looks good!
