In my "hanger" near Roswell, GA. It used to make the rounds in MD/VA and was a regular show winner for years at the "Bug-Outs" in Manassas, VA. Thinking about selling her. I'm the original owner.

I could tell it had been sitting. Under 18K miles. Unbelievable. Wait until the GA crew sees this. Nice work and keep the pics coming!

Thanks for the positive replies! Been a while since I've been on the .org & taken the "Baron" out to a show. Having kids will do that. ;-)

Can anyone recommend a good dealership in the Alpharetta, Roswell, Marietta GA Area for service? Or NOT recommend a particular dealership in the same vicinity? Thanks in advance.

I'm particularly fond of the gauge face and how you incorporated the design used on the cowl of von Richthofen's Dr.1 fighter--that is pretty sweet.

wawalker--nice catch and insight. I appreciate the fact that it was noticed. The storyline on the "face" is that it was something used on kites in Japan and one of the "Ace" pilots from Germany had it painted on his cowling for "good luck" and to ward away "evil spirits". I wrote to the good folks up in Rhinebeck, NY who had a Fokker DrI in their stable & asked them to send me a frontal picture to use. I told them what I was doing and they were gracious enough to help upon the promise of a completed picture of my project. Here's what they sent & how it got incorporated:

If you HAVE to take it to a dealer, I'm pretty sure the closest one in that area is Jim Ellis. There's a new one which people seem to like up at the mall of gerogia called Gunther. I haven't been there yet.

If it doesn't have to be a dealer... i'm sure there's plenty of locals with plenty of know how to tackle alything.

WAWALKER-- Very cool. I have my Private Pilot Sailplane, Single Engine Land, Instrument and recently picked up my Tailwheel endorsement. I'm a big time Aviation buff & a HUGE fan of the Reno Air Races (if you've never been---GO!--Way better than Oshkosh.) Thx for the local dealer info for GA.
