Talking Introducing...the Blue Angel

I just replaced the rear brakes on it all by my lonesome. It took me 3 days to figure it all out, but you can do it if you just search for how-tos. I also changed out a headlamp that was blown and replaced the fuse for my rear defroster. Now, I still have to take the dash apart and fix my fan switch. I broke it during one of my less gentle moments. It will only let me attach one file so I will post to the thread again for a back view with personalized plates.

Nice Blue Buggy...The fan switch isn't too bad of a fix, there are posts on the old version of the ORG, some of which I contributed to. It was my first Major DIY when we first got my car. I also did the brakes all the way around using How too's from the old ORG. You can save a whole lot of $$$ doing things yourself on these cars!!

Very pretty color, sure does feel satisfying knowing you can do your own repairs sometimes! I hate to be a downer, but does anyone think the left tailight looks a little...crooked? Seriously, it might just be me, I did just wake up a bit ago.

I think it may just be the angle of the photo or maybe the car is on a slight angle on the driveway. I sat and looked and looked and it did look a little crooked but I measured with my fingers and it looks about right!

Doesnt everyone feel better now?

Nice Beetle and congrats on doing those repairs yourself!
Who says girls can't fix cars? I've proved that theory wrong quite a few times! You go girl!!
