HID Pop-Up Washer Nozzles

I only discovered this feature a coupla months after I bought the vert, when one of the jets didn't retract fully and was sticking up from the bumper. I thought the flush circles, where the washers 'hide', were access points for tow hooks.

I can only describe the event as similar to when R2D2 pops out his computer interface from his chest inside an Imperial Cruiser and plugs in. There's a distinctive whirring motor sound, then they pop up about 4-5 inches and spray like crazy! Directions: you hold in your window washer stalk (headlights must be turned on) and after a few secs the process starts and water is going everywhere!

I have GOT to post a video/sound clip of this, it's just too cool.

LOL, yeah you do, don't you? Ran against R32's, WRX's, that sort of thing. Best time is always an instructor (guy yelled at the side of my face when I missed a cone! ) who has a stock Porsche GT3 and a guy with a modded Z3 M coupe. Everyone was amazed at my good times, especially my buddy who runs his stock Mini Cooper S and always wins his class. Auto-x is ok, but what I really want to do is take it on a track, but SCCA sez I need a fixed, visible roll bar (future mod fer sure)...

I am not a huge Road Racing fan we have been rallying here for years, but I would say go for it and get a roll bar, it is too much fun.
