They are Koni Yellows with H&R sport srpings.

One of these best mods I have ever done, I have only bottomed out once on our crappy NS roads, and it was a very minor scrape and not a bang, on a very major bump in the road.

I was drinking a coffee and wasn't watching as well as I should have been, I normally ride 'the hump'.

Cool news though, my Bug has gotten the nickname "Turtle" at the VW GTG's, so Turtle it is.

It's low, slow and green.. Turtle... Perfect!

How is your P-flo set up? Did you remove th air box, or run a true CAI down to the grill? I'm taking my front clip off next weekend for another project, and I might as well do this while I'm at it!

The P-flo replaces the heatshield. I the, cut off 1/3 of the black weatherstripping on the driver's side, and now the heatshield is cool to the touch after a long drive, and not painfully hot like it used to get. No rain gets in there even during very heavy rainfall, I'd say the weatherstrip is mainly for snow.

So now you're sucking air from the back of the engine bay, and NOT from the bumper? Excellent! Can you post a pic? Any notable change other than intake sound?

My P-flo is just in the normal location, just it is sucking cooler air now with the weatherstrip being gone and letting air out the back rather than having it stuck in the engine bay heatsoaking the intake.

Alright, got into a bit of trouble tonight. Out for a rather fast drive with some friends. The front two got radared at 115 in an 80 (71mph in a 50), and the last 5 cars were doing 160 in an 80 (100 in a 50) to try and catch up but they were chasing the front guys and didn't notice.

I'm done with speeding for a bit, I got off with a warning.

New pics from tonight!

First nice pics with the exhaust on, and I just installed a set of 12mm H&R spacers on the rear.

Haha, thanks man!

Coming next: Euro stubby mirror. Getting rid of the different-sized mirrors once and for all.

SMG, I think your car looks awesome. I'm planning on stealing your idea of putting black vinyl on that bar where the fog lights are The whole thing looks very tasteful and clean, I like it a lot.

It's actually black rock guard. It works perfectly and hasn't chipped or peeled in the 4 months it's been on.

I'll post a how-to when I have a chance

Got any details on the exhaust? Like a sound clip? Who made it/where did you get it? Looking very good!

Wow! I didn't know cyber green can look so gorgeous.
I like the OEM look of the l.beach.
SMG do you store your car in winter? I've been looking to your front bumper and didn't find any scratch.
Nice pics btw
