SMG do you store your car in winter? I've been looking to your front bumper and didn't find any scratch.
Nice pics btw
I will be this year, but this car has only seen 2 winters. Looking for an early 90's VW Golf beater as we speak, I have plans of spraypainting it chrome, bwahahaha

As for a spoiler though, less is more. I've honestly never seen a NB spoiler that I liked on Cyber Green.

I know wut u mean man. This is the ONLY spoiler I've ever liked on a regular NB. I had one on my silver '99 1.8T NB and it was expensive too, had to be painted and installed, I think it was around $500, maybe a bit more. VERY clean and I've never seen one on another NB locally here. http://drivergear.vw.com/store/acces...duct%5Fid=2037

You do realize you're required to document the install fully right? Pics, vids, sound clips, dyno charts, etc. The works! I want to see how effective this thing really is.

EDIT: HOLY **** you got a fantastic deal!

I'll be doing the works as far as documentation.

I'll be doing before and after soundclips, videos, I'll even have a chance to dyno the car in mid-October.

The charger shipped today so I should have it for the 20th or so, hoping to have it completed by the beginning of October, stay tuned!

Cam is here, cam gear is due any day, the charger should be here next week. This is going to be a fun fall.

Update time!

Car has been stored all winter since December. I got all the parts together for the Neuspeed supercharger kit and it's half installed. The only setback is that I broke the fuel rail trying to persuade the new 4.0 bar FPR into it but other than that there's been no problems.

Hoping to have it on the road by Monday, March 19th!

The car has also gotten some new rollers for next year:

I just have to send the ECU away this week and we should be ready to roll for the 19th!

Update: Ordered a new fuel rail today. I broke the original trying to get the FPR in there in temps below freezing. Anyway, this time I'm doing it inside.

Also sent my ECU away to get chipped. I learned to take it out at -16* (3*F). Not a great temperature to be working on your car.

If I didn't post, I got kicked out of my parking garage for the winter while they re-did the floor, walls and ceiling for 8 weeks.

Anyway, that's why it's in an unheated storage bay. Bastids.

But, my car has insurance on it a week from today and it'll roll on Monday the 19th.

Made progress today!

Charger is on, all that's left is to re-install the throttlebody and a few hoses.
