So it's almost done!

Everything is on and connected. I'm just waiting for the ECU. I'm going to go back and double-check all the hoses and stuff are going the right way.

Here's my numbers from October, before my cam and with some nasty pinging problems that have been taken care of since that dyno run.

Yes that was the pre-SC dyno. And yes, it was slow. :P

The car works fantastic, I'm really thrilled with it. It feels amazing to actually have my car home again and to be able to take it out anytime.

I was all stoked to do 'Stage 2' with the C2 software, the VR MAF, bigger injectors etc. But, I'm not interested at all right now. I might do it over the winter but I'm not willing to have my Bug out of commission for any amount of time now, I just want to drive it.

I must say, compared to my 91 Tercel beater this thing feels like a Porsche and I feel super baller driving it. It feels GREAT to be back in the swing of things again.

I'll take more engine bay pics tomorrow and post em up.

That's my buddy's GTI, full euro R32 kit, fully built VR6. It's an amazing car.

The suspension is the same as least year though, H&R sports. I'll run them till I go coils I figure.

Anyway, hopefully I'll take more pics tomorrow!

I figured I would move this over here since were dealing with your car now..

A blinking CEL is a sure fire sign of a misfire. Have you checked the ECU with a vag-com. Even if the light is not on it should register any misfires. This could also be caused by overlap. Do you still have the performance cam installed?
