crayola the silver beetle
hi i am liz and i absolutly love my beetle! its a silver 2001 GL and um... i dunno what else to say about it cause im new to all this crazy car stuff but i love it and you gotta start somewhere right? my friends all call my car crayola because everyone thinks my car smells like crayons, even when i transfered to a new school 3 hours away, the first time my new friend was in my car she said "it smells like crayons in here" so i know its not just people at my old school being weird lol

Congrats, you don't have a GL, you have a GLS or a GLX, depending on the motor. I'm not sure if you could get a GLS in 2001 with a sunroof, which would make your car a GLX.
Anyway, the car is beatiful stock, and looks to be a great canvas for modding. SMG

Congrats on finding your bug!! You're definitely not the first person to have a crayon smell in your car, there's a thread on here all about that! Mine's a 2005 and it's never smelled like that, it was just for a few model years. Today a lady sat in mine and said, "ah that new car smell!" I was so happy she thought it smelled new because I've had it for a year and a half. You're so lucky to live by the beach!
