How many miles do you have on your '98?

Also, I just checked out your beetle and the racing stripe is super dope fly.

Be really careful with that bra. The bra my car came with had done a lot of damage to the paint and it took them a lot of work to restore the paint to a good condition. You can still see the bra lines up close in the sun.

Thanks,
I take it off for the winter time and every time I wash the car. Do you think that is enough? And was your damage on the cyber green NB?

Yeah this was on my Cyber Green. The PO neglected the paint by leaving the bra on for a few years, but was having it professionally washed and waxed every 6 months so I think that may have saved it a bit. The area was just cloudy when the car came to the dealer to be certified and luckily it buffed out for the most part but in the sun you can still see the fade line, as part of the car was covered while the cyber green faded out as they all do. The one good thing is the bumper and hood had almost no rock chips.

My car is getting painted in 6 weeks though, so it doesn't really matter now.

If it rains, you should take the bra off and let it dry and wash the car before putting it back on. Do the same thing when you wash it and you'll be good to go. Just don't let water sit in there. and you'll be all set.

The whole bra thing can be a problem. I'm still looking for other solutions to the front end protection problem.
