Hey Ellen--

That smoke could just be excess oil burning off inside your exhaust...it usually happens when you do a major job such as a head repair.

It'll probably go away in time, so I wouldn't worry.

How long is a while, 50 miles? 10 miles, 500 miles? It has me worried but the hubby said the same as you. He just won't tell me for how long.

There's no apostrophe before an 's' when you're talking about the plural version of a word. "I took some neat photo's!" is NOT correct.

Here I am, looking at a beautiful Vortex NB, when all of a sudden, I'm looking at a "be-headed" Vortex NB!

Phew! I'm glad to see that you have Chip back from surgery. Sheesh! This thread was reading like a scary movie!

Here's to many more happy miles!

Well, I'm back from my drive around town.I took him to my sister-in-laws on the other side of town. He feels great! I hear the engine alot more but that's because John still has the wiper cowl off I thought something was wrong. I would have been home alot earlier but I was painting her living room.
He soooo wanted to go fast. I think I'm going to have to have John drive him during the 500 break in miles. It's so hard for me not to drive fast

Thank you everyone for the good vibes. It really helped me get thru these last two months just talking NB'S with you. I'll post some new pics when I get to drive him somewhere more scenic than my driveway
