Smile Taters Toy, 2001 Black 1.8T Sport in Texas

Hey all, finally took some pics of my NB 'Taters Toy' this weekend. More will follow in the future with different scenery, but wanted to introduce him to the club. (Sure hope I do this right.)

Thanks. First car I've had with a sunroof and I'm lovin every minute of it. My son is in the process of mastering the stick too because he wants to drive my car instead of his truck...go figure. I've seen Juggbug and she is very nice. Only one I've seen in that color.

Nice ride!

IMO First mod I would do is a different plate holder. Unless you like giving away free advertising.

Default New Pics

Gave Tater a bath and wax so I wanted to share some more pics.

How about that shine! Sorry, you can see me, but not my face. I am working on updating my profile with some pics.

This one is for the MARVIN lovers out there. It took me, my wife, and our son about 30 minutes to get the color coded beads into the bud vase to hold my travel mate...but it was all worth it.

Last but not least, the personal touch.

Kudos on the new plate frame. Looks GREAT! I'm amazed at the reflection with those side shots. It looks like the car is chrome. A top notch cleaning job.

Thanks everyone. I was just as amazed as you are with the shine when I was done. That VW paint is awesome!! Sorry about the front plate holder , forgot it was on there when I bought it. Consider it removed. When I looked at the photos I thought it made my handles look chrome too. Just incredible paint. I love driving around and showing off my NB.

btw - all my neighbors wish I would wash their cars too. We have hard water so I always dry it when I'm done. I clean the windows twice. Once with Windex, then after I wipe that off I use just a plain clean rag and wipe them again with a little elbow grease. Amazing, but its like the glass isn't even there. I use Meguires wax on everything I own. (Altima in the garage and my '98 Dodge Quad Cab.) I will have to look at the bottle and tell you what kind it is, but I always use the same because I always get the same finish. (Cheese cloth also makes a big difference when you take the wax off.) Thanks again.

Awesome! There is a NB club in the Dallas area already. I'm still trying to find one in the Austin area. Is your brother a fellow NB owner?
