Representin' my Richmond Kickers. It's a magnet-givaway item, and will be part of the World Cup tournament prize. The Kickers steered away from soccer-ball magnets when everyone and their Mother's youth team made thir own, complete with league logos.

Actually, i think i rather like it. I hate the "soccer mom" generally (with their jeans up to their chest or the mylar strack suit) so anything where someone isnt sticking a sports ball of any kind or a ribbon is okay with me. Now, weren't the Kickers one of the teams with limited edition Pez dispensers??

nope....no Pez dispensers. The best give-aways we have ever had are nothing more than mini-soccer balls. Historically, we have not had the budget for Pez or anything similar

That's AWESOME!! The other mascot from Kixx looks like an old stuffed animal and I want to hold him and SQUISH HIM!! Hee hee hee

Documenting the "before" pictures, as, well, time has caught up to matilda, and, as of December 2010, she has 146K on her, and keeping a car minty fresh takes a back seat to parenting and being a documented "grown up"

New Year's Day, 2011. Front Speaker-endectomy:

I had already finished the passenger side when I remembered to get the camera.

The Pioneer's I got...nothingfancy, but good enough for me:


Thank you to everyone who had tips on how to install, ans most importantly, how to make sure you have window clearance. Used were 10-32 X 2" machine screws cut down to 1-1/2". 1" nylon spacers not only gave me clearance, but will aid in deterring any vibration...I hope:


Finished look, excepting some Simple Green work to keep cleaning it up:


And finally, since I'm already dirty, I'll check out my stocking stuffer to see how well it does or doesn't work. review to follow:

1st..the windsheild cleaner thingy...eh, its OK.

Alright. This is GROUND ZERO for Matilda's upgrades, in preparation for her date with The Dragon. (BTW, Love removal machine by The Cult just kicked onto my ipod. Bloody PerfecT.

First, I have a local shop that is going to do a lot of the grunt work for me, since a) I'm busy enough with life in general and b) they are less likely to break things.

So first.

Kind of like putting on a suit to go to court, even when you know you're guilty, I ran her through the local "no touch". Bought the works package:
