You must be loving the Beetle. Seriously it's a cool car, I used to want one. But compared to the bug you've got to admit...

I once dated a girl with a Metro and it was just.....ugly.
I can admit that this one looks pretty okay, oddly enough.

That's funny! The Geo Metro was the first brand new car I ever purchased. It made it to about 100K before it died.

I wanted a vert metro once. To make it look like a watermelon. Pink felted interior with black seeds, striped dark and light green exterior with a "bite" out of the butt....

I had to smile when I saw your pics. My dad bought a new 1996 blue Metro for $8000 because of the 50 mpg -- he drives 100 miles round trip to work in Denver at the airport. Don't those things have only 3 cylinders? At around 200k miles, one cylinder completely quit, so he drove it until just over 300k with 2. One time he was coming home on I-25 and the wind was blowing so hard the car could only get to 60 mph with the accelerator all the way to the floor! He finally had it towed away when the fuel tank had to be replaced and the cost to replace it was more than what the car was worth. I cried a little when the tow truck came just because it was one of those cars that was so ugly it was cute and we got much more than our money's worth out of it. Thank goodness he was never in an accident with it though.
