Haven't updated the pics for the GTI in a long while, but here are recent photos.
Basic synopsis: Interstate traffic came to a halt for some asinine reason, I didn't react fast enough (wasn't tailgating), hit the backside of a '10 Pathfinder. Luckily it didn't hit the structure and the trailer hitch went in over the bumper. But it's off at the body shop. So in two weeks it should be done, I think.

Happened on the 7th.
Right now the repair bill estimate is sitting north of $9,300. So I'm expecting a total at this point since it's getting so close to the overall value of the car. But we'll see what the insurance adjuster says. Nobody was injured, BTW.

Ouch, glad that nobody was injured though. Yeah, if that's the bill, it's going to be tough for them to not just total it.
