Default 1949 Ford F-1... in the beginning.

well guys here is the latest project that ive started. its a 1949 Ford F-1 pickup. my dad has had it sitting around in the old shed behind his house for god only knows how many years now. he always told me that he wanted to see me fix it up and im glad that hes kept it in good shape because we're only a little into the teardown and there is only minor rust and the whole drivetrain looks BRAND NEW. the interior is factory and immaculate (aside from cobwebs) ill be sure to keep you all updated because this truck is awesome!

Awesome project mang!! Had a 51 Chevy 3100 myself back in high school. Getting rid of it is one of my big regrets. Fortunately Florida seems to have a good amount of old Chevy's as well as Fords. I plan on getting another before they become too scarce.

Have fun buddy.

That looks like a great project! Can't wait to see the finished project. Just remember the brakes are not power and neither is the steering. My brother in law has a 49 something in storage. It doesnt run but maybe some year he'll get moving on it. Don't forget to take lots of pics while you're doing this.

Looks like a great start for a project. What are your plans for it?

Dude, that's sweet!

Man oh man... a bench seat and a real dash. They don't build them like that any more!
