As I don't 'get' American cars, I won't comment on the vehicle.
Just wanted to wish you much joy of it, and that it wears well
Thanks! Did you know that the Mustang was designed to go after the more stylish European models which was around then? It was even mid engine when it was a concept!

Yes, and it sells well over there because of its competitive pricing. I have my (entirely subjective) reasons, but this is not the thread for them.
This is the thread to congratulate you on fulfilling your dream and I can totally get behind THAT!

Do you see what is there? It's part of a continuation of the Pony Package that the car could come with, so I am not 'modding' I am 'completing'.

That is what I am telling myself, anyway.

I got a Billet Delete Antenna, which, they said on the web site, will not work as an antenna. Which does not bother me, since I am a XM/iPod/DVD guy in the car. So I got it, and put it on, and tried out the FM for the heck of it, and it works!

How about that! Not bad, and it looks super sanio at that!

Nice TJ! Do you know that it was between JB or a 'Stang back in October of '05 for us? I LOVED the Mustang, but the kids pissed and moaned about the back seat, so it was in with JB. But I still love them and one day I will have one. Or at least get hooked up with a ride from a lovely preacher man who's sportin' one.

That's a promise. Now I just got to get you to visit Texas, where I am sure some nB folks would be just all excited to see a gal like you!

Yes sir.

And Keith, (who rides in the backseat of the Stang a lot) says it's as roomy back there as it was in the backseat of the nB. And he is a full size adult, you know.

Two shots from today. I listened while driving around, to a local classical station, and the antenna delete, as it's called, worked fine for me. The occasional static, which could just be FM, you know.

Oh! And I found out that the molding I have on the sides, is only on 'fleet' Mustangs.
I am not sure what a fleet car is, out side of a guess that those are the cars HERTZ uses. I do know this, since the title tells me so, that the only other owner of this car was the dealer, and I know from talking to them, that the one who drove it was the owner of the dealership, and I also know the car is like show room new in shape, so, yeah!

I like having the molding, makes the car even more special to me.

I actually might be close to Sugarland (is that what it's called?!!) Texas next Spring. My aunt and uncle live there. So of course I'd make plans to see my favorite rowdy Preacher Man.

I saw Boaz's twin this morning on the way home from the vet.

Molding and everything.

I know who the better looking twin is, though

Why thank ye for the compliment; I'll make sure Boaz knows that girls think he good looking!

I have yet to see another one with molding, so far.

The Generation II FIPK® is K&N's ultimate performance product, designed to increase power by as much as 10%. Most FIPK's are street legal in all 50 US states and come with a Million Mile Limited Warranty. K&N intake systems replace your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your vehicle's engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the OEM air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The filters on these kits are washable and reusable. Most of our intake kits are relatively easy to install using tools commonly available.

57-2566 Product Specifications
Product Style: 57 Series FIPK
Estimated Horsepower Gain: 7.54 HP @ 4996 RPM
Type: Gen II
Replacement Filter: RF-1048
CARB EO Number: D-269-34
CARB Exempt: Yes
Weight: 8.8 lb (4 kg)
Product Box Length: 23 in (584 mm)
Product Box Width: 14.25 in (362 mm)
Product Box Height: 12.13 in (308 mm)

And I noticed on the way home, some more 'umph' as it were. I love the way it looks at least.

No need to tune it, and maybe later, I will get a better one, but for now, I am happy with this.

But that was not all the mods done today......

I also got some PONY mats for the car, and then a PONY oil cap! Nothing too much, really, but you know, a mod is a mod...
