Smile My "other" roadster

When I'm not driving my 2007 NBC with the top down, I'm either showing or driving the 1923 Ford T-Bucket shown here. I forgot to post this a while back for "LNZBUG." So Lynn, this is for you and others.

Just a brief bit of information. The bucket is a replica of a 1923 Ford Pick-up...in the hot rodding world this rod is known as a t-bucket. The body is fiberglass. The car is different in that it is "Ford" powered. I say this because the majority of street rodders power their Fords with a Chevy engine. My engine of choice is a 1968 Mustang 390FE with Edelbrock RPM Performer aluminum heads and Ford Factory Tri-Power, running a 50/50 street cam. The engine is making about 450 HP! Quite a bit of horsepower in a car that weighs ins at about 2200 pounds! The frame is polished stainless steel, in fact all the shiny stuff is either polished stainless steel, polished brass, polished aluminum or chrome. The transmission of choice is the mighty C-6 with a stout Ford 9" out back. Enough of the talk...attached are a couple photos...I hope.

Jerry

Sweet bucket. I love the deuce grille shell. While I like my T's stock at least a real body wasn't used. This one rocks
