Default SundownBeetle's '03 Nissan 350Z "Zip"

Hello all! Al and Buttercup requested my presence back in these parts, so I wanted to share a couple pictures of my current ride! I bought Zip this summer and after working out a few issues brought on by the abuse he sustained during his previous ownership--I'm enjoying my little black sports car!

Zip is a 2003 (first model year) Super Black Nissan 350Z Enthusiast Edition

Because I spend a lot of time in traffic, I love this Z with it's automatic transmission with manual override...the best of both worlds in my opinion!

I'll try to take some more pics soon (oh yeah, that's me there at the bottom )

I'm so happy.... She's back!!! Welcome back Jess!!!

I absolutely love Zip!!! And He's a black Z.... you've got good taste

I love the Z, especially that I, a 6'2" dude can fit in it comfortably. I'd love to grab a hold of one of these to add to the stable.
Looking good Jess- you and Zip. And props to you for nursing Zip back to health.

Is there a Zip decal in His future?

Back in the day, I remember going to Tech School with 2 other guys, in a 260z. I rode in the back (feet behind the passenger's seat, sprawled diagonally in the back) on the way to school (a 40 min. drive), and sit in the passenger's seat on the way back.... Ah good times

Keep the pics coming and don't be a stranger.

Thanks for the compliments, guys I've missed the camaraderie among Beetle drivers! Everyone in the Camaro forums (before I got Zip) weren't very friendly or helpful at all.. Z drivers seem to have more of a common thread, but there's nothing like the .org here! At least some Z drivers wave at each other (it's a step down from throwing the peace sign ) Zip has a twin whose owner's morning commute crosses mine pretty regularly.. I think we've become friends as many times as we've played follow the leader on the way to work

Here's another couple of pics.. the second one is of me and my brother with the Z and his Mazda 6.. I think we were trying to be gangsters

Great pics all the way around. Glad to hear you finding a little solidarity amongst the Z community. Yeah, I think the Camaro crowd pretty much rolls the way you describe, at least the new-gen Camaro crowd.

And you know you're Beetle alumni, so you're always part of our family. So keep in touch.

Like your new ride.
Personally I vote for the wheels on the box - I like contrast not stealth.

Thanks! The ones on the box are the ones I'm considering actually. I like that they are black with the polished face so there is more contrast than the solid black ones
