FlavorFly's 2008 VW GTI
So I received an offer that I just could not refuse, and traded in the 2007 New Beetle for this 2008 Tornado Red GTI w DSG. Now, let me tell you, I am a huge NB fan and will miss having one, but this GTI is AMAZING. I have never driven anything like this. I am loving it so far! Here are some pictures - I haven't really had the opportunity to take it out and get some good ones! Hopefully here soon I will some more posted.

Damn, I see more NBers trading up to Mk5s.
Did you get the manual or opt for DSG? RNS-510 or Premium 7? What other options? Good choice - mine is an '07 4-door with Package 2 (leather, Climatronic, sunroof), DSG, and Sirius.

Man, pretty soon I'm going to be the only org member left in the area that actually drives a Beetle!
Don't get me wrong, that GTI is *HAWT!* ... but, NewBeetle.org is becoming Some-have-a-vw-and-some-dont.org. Hm.... wonder if I'd fit in a GTI  And do they have them in Yellow?

MK5 GTI's a FAAASSSSST! My brother has one, and I thought my TDI was fast, not so fast (no pun intended). It is just jaw dropping fast. Better get Valentine1 or your license would be ruined. The only car that reminded me of the MKVGTI is my friend's '88 Lotus Esprit Turbo, it really wasn't an everyday car but it was doggone fast indeed. I never launched a fighter jet off of a carrier but it sure feeled like it when I drove it once. GTI's are fast like that not during launch but going 110+ from 55MPH!

Those wheels came with the car! Awesome!
I stared at it every time I went to the dealer, as it was on the showroom floor for awhile. I am so glad someone I know bought it!
