yeah, it's a subaru. it also has awd, lots of torque, and it's a decent ride. here's the pics from the ebay ad, i'm sure the po won't mind; he's a cool dude, and we share a lot of common interests.

in the past few weeks, i've replaced the fender, lower control arm, tie rod, spindle...basically anything to do with that left front. yeah, that tire is hitting the inner wheelwell in those pics.

it's coming home tomorrow, then i guess i could get some pics of the legacy and the audi project as they both stand.

so here's a quick rundown:

-1997 legacy gt sedan
-ej25d dohc boxer4, 165hp, 162tq
-5mt close-ratio, 4.06fd
-symmetrical awd

i still need to bend an exhaust for it, and then it's brakes and tires time.

well, here's a couple pics. yes, it's real, yes, that's my driveway, and no, it's not all the same color.

runs good, drives good, still needs brakes and an oil change.

well, in the back seat/trunk, there's...

--3 fenders (the subaru, an olds intrigue fender, and one off the a90)

--2 midpipes (one off the scirocco, one off the subie)

--the audi's old trunk

--an oldsmobile intrigue door

--2 totes of misc. audi 90 parts

--$12 worth of beer bottles

man, does this thing haul ass (literally and figuratively)! i can do some serious scrappin' with it.
