Default 1970 Empi Imp Dune Buggy

So I finally took delivery of a couple of cars a couple weekends ago. The Buggy was one of them. It's a 70 body on a 70 pan. The pan has already been cut down and the car is about 90% done. I tore down the type 3 engine I have and will be converting it to an upright style.

Oh noes! Not the jeep. That's just being stored for a friend from PA. This has more meaning to me than that thing.

It's a 62.

To many toys not enough time.

The Buggy should be quick and easy. All I need to do is freshen up the motor, tidy up the electrical, mount the windshield, and get some taillights.

LOL!!! I wish we were neighbors. You and John would be able to keep each other going. Doing this by yourself has got to be the hard part. Keep me posted with your progress.

Motivation is a big factor with all this.

I rewired a co-workers Type 181 "thing" a few weekends ago and that really got me going, but there are times I lose steam and it all goes to hell. I do get back in the swing of things though.

Waiting on a few bits for the engine. Trying to find the correct pitman arm also. Things are moving slowly due to work and family life, but don't lose hope it will be done.
