Mazda Forums is a great source for mazdaspeed info.

Amazing places for gofast parts.

Just basing the info as it was presented to me at the time. Not saying it was true but saw what a few simple mods would produce. Of course were talkin brand new 2-3 mile engines as well, as far as the gearbox, don't know much about the stability of those. But nevertheless I would prefer a Mazdaspeed Protege over the current offering but that's just me. Gina got what she wanted and that's really all that matters in this thread.

I originally wanted an RX8, but sadly I couldn't justify the horrible gas mileage it gets. The Speed is about on par with the Beetle, so that's good enough for me

Congratulations Gina with your Mazda.

You've given so much love to Pepper, it must've been tough to let her go, althought I've read it's new owner is a good choice.

Have lots of fun with your new red beauty!

Gina- I haven't been around much in the last year or so, as my job situation changed and doesn't allow for 'net playtime- so I was shocked to see that you had sold Pepper! One of my favorite NBs ever!

But I really, really think you will love your M3. We just bought a 2008 Mazda 3 sedan in August for my daughter- it is the same color as yours. I didn't think you could get much redder than Salsa Red, but the Mazdas are! And so pretty when they are clean.

My daughter's 3 isn't the souped up Speed version, but she really loves the car. I know you will be very happy with yours (especially when you get him all fixed up )

Best of luck to you and to Pepper and his new family...

Aww thanks! I do miss the NB sometimes and even though I put a lot of work into it, I'm happy to have something new. I've got some Redline leathery goods in the mail coming from Poland, and I'm picking up these babies on Sunday:
