Cool Gina's 2008.5 Mazdaspeed3 GT!

I want to introduce my new car! A 2008.5 Mazdaspeed3 Grand Touring in True Red. I must've gone to the dealership at least 4 times before I actually bought it. I finally did the deed the day I gave my Beetle to the new owner. Definitely an emotional rollercoaster. The dealership was about 3 days away from giving the car to an auction, so I got a killer deal on it too

It's a 6 speed with 263hp and 280 lb-ft of torque. Turbo engine, of course It has these amazingly comfy alcantara sport seats with leather bolsters. Interior is black with nice red stitching, and the True Red exterior is even more red than the late Beetle. The exhaust has a nice deep rumble, which is fun. Not sure how long the car will stay stock as I already have some things planned, but it definitely has a lot of power straight from the factory. Bose speakers are stock, along with a 6 disk CD changer, LED taillights and HID headlights. This car is fuuuun

No personal pics yet, but here's the dealer pictures:

Nice, I see these everyday at work so it really does'nt float my boat. But you got what you wanted. Personally, myself I would have looked for a 03/03.5 Mazdaspeed Protege, these cars would haul it, and they were seriously detuned to make them more driver friendly. The boys at Calloway actually built the turbo system for it and while talking to them about it they said the car could easily produce well over 250 hp. I should know, I was actually one of the installers for this project, this is the car that actually brought the Mazdaspeed program to America. Mazdaspeed been i Japan for a long time and there were certain critirea that had to be met to get the program over hear. Think I got an old MAZDASPEED logo or 2 around you interested?

See, the Protege doesn't float my boat at all Just the exterior looks, anyway. Might as well take the logos if you're not going to use them, I'm sure I can find a use for it.

Something fun I discovered on the way home from dinner tonight - I can move the headlights up and down with this little knob on the inside

Let me look, when I get back to work next week, think I got a few stickers and maybe a rear decklid emblem from the Protege' would look good on your toolbox.

I think the price the NB sold for was very fair for both parties, plus (and I find this almost as important) I couldn't ask for a better replacement owner

The speed technically isn't insured yet, so I'm trying to keep driving to a minimum. Maybe I'll paint the calipers today or something. haha god, I can't even wait one day to start with him

Nice ride, Gina.
I wish you many happy miles.
A friend of mine bought one of these a few months back. He couldn't be happier.
