mindblowing find - my NEW 89 Jetta!

Just bought this incredible car Saturday - 89 with only 124,512 original miles on it, showroom condition - all original everything, even the original floormats and factory stereo!! The paint is INCREDIBLE, the interior is PERFECT, not a stain or worn spot anywhere, everything works perfectly. Bought it from the ORIGINAL OWNER - he bought it new in 1989. It so SO GORGEOUS! And it cost $500.00. I'm still reeling, I'm afraid to let it out of the driveway!!

The owner said it came from the dealer new with that radio, so I assumed it was - it's pretty cool though, I have a cassette adaptor for the iPod so I don't have to change it out!

I bought this as an interim car for my son (his 95 Jetta GL was declared a total loss after it had a run-in with an uncovered storm drain, which the property's insurance is going to make good on) - but I'm so in love with it that I'm afraid I won't be able to part with it when the ins. money comes through and it's time to buy him a newer replacement car! That would make 4 VDubs we have... Hmmm, that doesn't sound too bad actually!
