Thanks! The Coupe is a REALLY nice car. It's just painfully slow, especially with the A/C on. If I do anything to it, I think I may swap a 2.0l short block in so I can keep the digifant engine management in there and retain all of the factory accessories. It's a pretty straight forward swap that adds a good bit of power for not a lot of money.
I'm trying to decide what to do with the brown car though. Part of me is attached to it, but the other part says we don't need three cars and I know I could sell it for a decent amount. Arghh!! Decisions decisions! |

trade for the brown mk2 if you're up for it.
![]() fair swap, keep the wheels, i like the coupe wheels if that helps. i love my mk4, but the mk2 itch is KILLING me.

See that's the thing about the brown car... It photographs very well, but it's really no prize. There's nothing much in terms of metal left under the rear flares and I had to use 3M body tape to hold them on. It looks and drives great, but there's a lot of underlying issues with it that need to be mentioned. If you're still interested, what did you have in mind?
As for more pics... I got really lazy with taking decent pictures of the brown car. After I busted my butt sewing new seat covers nearly 3 years ago, I never once took a finished picture of them. Believe that? On top of that, I never scotch guarded them, so they sun faded like crazy and now they need to be redone again. Here's a shot of the back seat. ![]() This is when the car was still it's original color. ![]() I really LOVED that color, but Ohio winters were really tough on it. Well let me rephrase that. The amount of salt they use here on the most miniscule amount of snow was really rough on it. When you can't get a shine out of it with 3M hand glaze, you know the paint is done. ![]() As for the coupe. I JUST got it looking like it does, so there aren't many pictures of it that are worth showing. I'll show you a before picture so you can see how far it's come though. ![]()
