Default Shannon's 2006 John Cooper Tuned Mini

I normally don't post my cars in the 'other rides' section because...there would just be too many threads. Here's my newest toy that I picked up this past Friday:

2006 Mini Cooper S w/the factory installed John Cooper Works tuning package
Space blue
Cordoba beige soft leather sport seats
Anthracite headliner
208hp 1.6l supercharged engine
6spd Getrag transmission
Harmon Kardon sound system
Navigation
Park Distance Control
18" JCW wheels w/Runflats ($300/tire )
Sport tuned
Factory carbon fiber hood scoop, rear hatch spoiler, side mirror caps, and dash

I have to admit...you have me the 'itch' to get a Mini after talking about them before you went for the Mazda Speed. I thank you...My bank account doesn't.

If I didn't need the room...

That is one SA-WEEET lookin' ride!

There's actually more room in there than one might think. A guy at the office has one, and he can stuff more computers, monitors and servers in the back of that car than you would have thought possible. Also, I got a friend who is way over 6 feet tall (I'm 6-1, and I have to look up), and he fits in his mini quite comfortably.

Nice ride! I think a mini GTG is in our future! (well, virtual GTG anyway ) The option you have that I want is that cup holder. I thought the NB's were bad, these are horrendous!

I'm not going to sugar coat it. Minis are 'compact cars' but I'm 6' and fit comfortably in mine. I wish that the seats would go down closer to the ground/floorboard because that's how I'm use to rollin' but I'm sure I'll get use to it.

That would be asking for a blood bath. If I had that many cup holders, passengers would assume that they're allowed to bring liquids into my car and they aren't.

Thanks guys and gals! I think its probably the most fun car I've owned out of all 35 - and after the Z4 I didn't think that was possible. Its definitely the quickest car I've owned; and the JCW tuning upgrades make all the difference in the world.

Well, it's a super keen car, that is what I think. Of all the Iconic cars I have owned (VW Bug, both old and new, Jeep Wrangler, Prius, Mustang), the Mini is still on my list of Iconic cars I would love to own.

NOICE!

not really fan of the new mini's, but that one i'd definitely take out back and show it a good time.

now, if they only made one that had a usable back seat...

There's no apostrophe before an 's' when you're talking about the plural version of a word. "I took some neat photo's!" is NOT correct.
