Good theme, too...i saw so many hello kitty decals and stickers at the auto supply store last nite, you would be in heaven!!
Have you ever thought about custom painting any of the interior to tie into your color scheme or do you want to keep it stock? |

I think it would look great custom painted on the inside and outside but I'm afraid of ruining her.
I think though that in maybe 4-5 years, I might look into custom painting the exterior. The front of the car looks pretty bad already from rocks/road debris ![]() |

I actually (mostly) learned to drive in a Versa. For a month I used our old Minivan and then it dies and we were carless for a while, then we picked up the very first Red Versa in NJ. Same red, Tan interior, Leather package, CVT.
Parallel parking in the Versa was easy compared to the Van, hahaha. Unfortunately the Versa is a really really tight fit and extremely uncomfortable for me. Thus, I got the Beetle. (lol Autoclaustrophobia, there goes your marketing campaign, Nissan.) I have my gripes other than the smallness, mostly the lame audio and various small things, BUT, I have to say, the CVT is incredible and I would do anything for a Beetle with CVT. Also, the Versa is SO quiet, wayyyy quieter than my bug. But hey, congrats on your new car. It should do you well. Also, make sure you get the Airbag light/sensor and the TPMS checked, they were involved in Recalls. I like the black interior a LOT, and it helps that the interior is pretty high-quality as-is. |

Hey. Glad to hear you liked the Versa, and you had red too
![]() I LOVE my Versa. It is my first new car that is mine. I am paying for her. Before that I was driving a 2 door Hyundai (2001) Accent, that belonged to my parents. However, we traded it in when I bought the Versa. The Accent was really purchased (used) for me to use throughout university. It fulfilled its purpose, but it was time to get rid of it. As for TPMS. I don't have that. Us Canadians do not get that as an option. At least the 07-09 model years do not have it, and I got mine fully loaded. I added every available option to the V when I purchased her. The CVT is a dream, I love it. And I actually find the interior very very roomy. I love driving her around. The only problem so far was I had a leak in my sunroof, and had that fixed. And I had them replace the fuel pressure regulator as many, many, MANY other Versa owners have had problems with that. (I belong to numerous Versa forums). haha! Anyways, one day I might buy a Beetle. I didn't really look into it before because the Accent was a 2 door car, and I knew I wanted a 4 door hatchback. I wanted the extra space, and hated have to readjust my seat to let people in/out of the car. The beetle though has always been my favourite car. I should test drive it one day ![]() For now, the Versa is my baby, and I hope she runs for many years to come ![]() |

Hahaha, back in my day...
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'll sure miss that red one. That '87 Sentra was the family car forever. Thing lasted 20 years! The Blue one we actually got for $300 when the Red one died but it was actually just as bad, lol. |

My winter tires and rims were put back on yesterday. Feels like I just took them off, Boy does time fly by.
They are Hankook winter tires, and Sacchi alloy rims. Gave her a bath, and cleaned her perfectly today. ![]() ![]() Cleaned the inside too ![]() ![]() |

Took a couple new pics today. The weather was beautiful here today! It reached a high of 19 degrees celsius. Last week the weather was in the negative numbers, with rain and wet snow. Today it was nice enough to work outside in a t-shirt.
![]() ![]() ![]() Isn't she nice and shiny? ![]() ![]() And me, at home with the Versa. ![]() |

My first "new" car was an 88 Nissan Sentra, lighter blue than the one you pictured above. It was a great car, drove it for 8 years, until 1996, never one problem.
Mine looked like this, but I had black honeycomb wheels, that looked awesome. I have a pic somewhere, but this will have to do for now. ![]()

My brother has the red Sentra that is beside my car in the last pic.
He really likes it. So far, my car is great. I hope it drives for another 10 years. Last edited by iluvmyVersa08; 11-09-2009 at 12:57 AM.. |

I hope she goes for 15 years.
And yes, we will see how the CVT holds up. I have the warranty for 7 years/120kms so I'm hoping no problems there, and Nissan just extended the warranty for everyone with a CVT transmission. So far, she has been great. I have 26500 kms right now, and she will be 2 years old in April.
