Default Traded my 2K beetle for a '55 Chevy

Well all, I've traded my beetle for a 1955 Chevy 210. A deal nobody could refuse. What a car, a Georgia barn find as solid as new. Fresh paint, knockoff wire wheels, Caddy seats and a 6 cylinder with a powerglide. Still have my '53 '63 '73 rail buggy so i'm not without a VW.

OMG - a 55 Chevy? (where is that "faint" smilie?)

I have fond memories of my teenage years, my HS boyfriend had one.

The 4 doors are getting valuable now too? I remember when people would pull the front clips, trunk lids and cut up the rear for patch panels to repair 2 doors and then scrap the rest...

That is one nice ride. I was surprised as well as my co-workers on gas mileage on the old cars with six banger and single carb. My 65 van was getting upper teens. I love four door cars, if you tint the windows out dark, paint the post a dark color as well and it'll look like a hardtop. Have fun with it... I agree that is a hard on to turn down.

Woah mang, you ain't lyin that's too good to pass up. Good find mang- congrats A 1951 Chevy 3100 pickup might sway me from Buttercup, I stress might

I always love the classic car in the barn stories. Surprisingly, there's more of them than you think.

Again congrats, and PLEASE post more pics!
