I found this while digging thru some boxes of photos.
I owned a gen.4, 1976 Nova Concours, Lime Green, Cabriolet top, White vinyl interior w/rosewood trim, 305 V8.
They are not as accepted as gen.1,2,3 Novas but they are now "Classics". This was the luxury model...lol.

You are so right. That's when they went to FWD, I believe.
I'm researching gen.1&2 Novas for a future restoration project.

wow i feel so dense, i don't think that ever occurred to me. they both must have come from the NUMMI plant, like the later corollas and their twin the geo/chevy prizms.

anywho. dig the nova, and i agree the later 80s ones are the only lame ones.

"No va" in Spanish means "Doesn't go".

My wife had a 1985,6,or 7 Nova. We ran it into the ground around 1997
Looked a lot like this one. Yep, very much like the Corolla

Although it's not a Muscle Car (I missed it by one year) this is my 1974 Mustang, 4-speed, 4 cyl. hatchback that replaced the Nova.
American Racing wire wheels (kind of look like BBS).

At least the MustangII had some redeeming quality.... The suspension. I'm sure you know that their suspensions are well sought in hot-rod modding circles.

As a matter of fact I was just browsing a Nova forum and saw some guy that had one on his Gen.1or2 Nova.
I'll keep that in mind for a future Nova Gen.1 project that I'm researching.
