Well I know that posting something not about a New Beetle can be bad, but something that isn't even VW? That calls for treason. I'm sure you've seen that i've been looking for a New Beetle. Well I think my search has drawn to an end Bug-less. My girlfriends dad offered me his 2010 Focus and i'm probably going to end up with that. So here is where the wierd things begin. In October I was forced to sell my 73 bug Bubbles for parts. Now, a few months later I meet this Focus whos name is Mindy. I had a strange feeling of calm and joy around her as I did Bubbles. Now comes the strange part. A few weeks ago I was looking at Mindy's window, she has the chemically etched numbers on it for theft recovery and to trace the numbers in case she were parted out. I looked and the numbers ended in 113, Bubbles VIN began with 113. I nearly cried after seeing that, remembering her. But aside from the sob story, I have a feeling that Mindy is some sort of reincarnated version of my dear Bubbles and that she'll be more then just a new car to me, much more. (Thank you for listening those who read this sorry for the novel haha)

Wow,that's cool. I'm sorry you had to sell your old bug. I sold my 1970 autostick bug because of the mileage I was soon to endure due to school and work. I bought a new beetle.

I hope everything works aout for you and that...Ford.

Yeah I was heartbroken when I had to sell mine. But yeah she'll (the Ford) do alright, i've already driven and gotten really attached to her. I'll probably throw something German on her to show that i'm still on their side for everything haha.

I found a picture of her in the dirt of the Michigan winter. Not really the best shot but I don't have one of her all clean from her valentines day bath lol

Yeah it's a really nice color, very fitting for such a cute little car. This one is a base model, she doesn't even have power windows!

Yeah it's a nice car, I mean, I love the New Beetle, but I don't want emotions to get into the way of practicality. Yes it may be a good buy, but this Focus I know exactly what has happened to it, where it's been etc. It's been pampered basically by her owner (My GF's dad) and even though she isn't quite mine yet, I take care of her as if she were.
