Had a pretty tired BMW 318i for sale on Kijiji, and a guy called to ask if I'd consider trading for "some old VW"

...went to look at it and fell in love. I had about $250 invested in the Bimmer, so I'm VERY happy with the trade. I've been driving her almost daily.

Some of my other Bugs:

My first car, when I was 16. Very rusty '74. I LOVED this car. She's still around.

My '72 which I started restoring 4 years ago... STILL involved with that

My '66, I'm the second owner. Uncle bought it brand new.

My '74 Sun Bug. Next in line for resto.

'74 Love Bug in Ravenna Green

And my '68

Dang man looks like you got it made. I haven't been able to pick up an aircooled dub yet. Thats my next project though. Right now i'm in the middle of restoring a 1959 Pontiac which i found and fell in love with last summer. its a heap of rust, but its complete and original and it runs like a babe. The year I'm lookin at getting one day is anywhere older then '68. I like the older headlights and bonnet better. haha

A 1974 Yellow Beetle.....

<--- born in 1974, favorite color is yellow.. and I drive a 2002 Double Yellow Color concept. Been dying forever to get a 1974 Air Cooled but never had the spare change for one.

One of these days, don't be surprised if the little fella drives off in the night in search of his family in Washington state.

Nice trade and nice start to a collection. Hope you get to all of them one day. They all deserve to be saved.

Pre 67 is actually what you're shooting for with the old style headlamps.

This is how she's looking now- Kamei front spoiler, HiLux driving lights, Lemmerz GT wheels.

Bought a very solid '69 Bug with a sunroof last week. Her name is Annie... apparently named that the day she was purchased new.

Has a bit of a crunch in the left front fender, but I have a replacement one in stock :

Amazing collection! I have a 1970 beetle my husband bought me for my birthday last year and It ran great. She is in pieces at the moment slowly getting fixed up.
